Zach Hoins
Chief Operating Officer
Zach has been the Chief Operations Officer with Village Enterprise since 2016. During that time he has supported our leadership teams across East Africa with a focus on increasing the number of entrepreneurs we are working with and assuring as many of them leave extreme poverty as possible. He brings the ability to position organizations to maximize their internal qualifications through leading/developing teams to nurture organizational culture, support and coach leaders, implement strategic plans, identify and secure new business opportunities, and deliver on critical projects. Areas of expertise include operational effectiveness, people and culture strategy, organizational development, OKR Implementation, obtaining new business, mentoring and coaching teams, and talent identification. He holds a Masters in Community and Economic Development from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska.
