Eva Kigo is an accomplished economist with a strong dedication to advancing the mission of Village Enterprise. With over 10 years of experience in executing ambitious business change and technology projects, Eva has consistently delivered results while adhering to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. Having made significant contributions in the development sector, Eva has held pivotal roles such as Country Program Manager at Lundin Foundation overseeing operations in East and Southern Africa. She also served as Venture Builder – Head of Impact at Purple Elephant Ventures where she successfully implemented impactful climate action plans.
Recognized for her ability to cultivate partnerships, drive employee engagement, and achieve both quality and revenue objectives, Eva brings a wealth of expertise to her role as the Product and Service Senior Director at Village Enterprise. Her unwavering commitment lies in delivering a robust poverty graduation product of the highest quality, ensuring its intended impact is realized. Leveraging her deep understanding of industry trends and evidence-based approaches, Eva leads the innovation strategy and collaborates with cross-functional teams to spearhead the design and implementation of transformative products. Eva holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic & State University.
