Katie has been Village Enterprise Board Chair since 2019, and a board member for several years previously. Katie Boland is the co-founder of The Delta Fund, an organization focused on supporting and growing provable and scalable efforts to alleviate extreme poverty. Katie is on the board of several nonprofits and consults with organizations working to decrease disadvantages in the current societal systems. Prior to her work on The Delta Fund Katie worked as an educator, teacher trainer and in curriculum development. She has been an advisor for education improvement initiatives. Katie holds a B.S. in Biology and Natural Sciences & Mathematics from Washington & Lee University and an M.Ed. in Science Education from Vanderbilt University. She lives in Bellevue, Washington with her husband and two children.
